Make up Lab by Yiannis Marketakis

Make up Lab by Yiannis Marketakis
Last Saturday I visited the Make up Lab by Yiannis Marketakis. Yiannis Marketakis is the exclusive ambassador of Max Factor here in Greece, and a great guy with an exceptional sense of humor as well if you ask me. The Make up Lab is a place that Yiannis Marketakis created and it's like a dream for every woman! Max Factor make up things everywhere, great decoration, boudoirs, shiny surfaces  and Yiannis Marketakis with a big welcoming smile. You know I've always admired Yiannis's Marketakis work, mainly for the flaweless skin he creates at all his looks. I mean  for me the skin and its texture is the base for a succesfull make up and I think that Yiannis Marketakis is a master on that. Yesterady he showed us some tips and tricks and of course the make up trends for Spring!

Have tried Max Factor in the past mainly its foundation products and I can tell you that they are really awesome and the good thing is that they always come in very handy packaging  This year's Max factor flipstick for example comes with two lipsticks in one in order to combine them, create deptth and give extra volume to your lips, or even wear them separately. Got one myself and going to try asap!

The Make up Lab is located in Psyrri here in Athens and Yiannis Marketakis runs make up courses for everyone as the make up lab comes with a variety of lessons to choose from with registrations and classes all year round.

More info about the Make up Lab you can find here.

London Baby!

If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Foursquare you might know by now that last week I was in London. Was my first time there but it's been a dream to visit this place so everything seemed so familiar to me. The tube, the breakfast, the weather, the topshop generation (aka London girls), the handsome british guys (some of them), the booth, the cookies, the tea... I just want to go and live there and get lost in Soho which probably is not going to happen because you never get lost in London. I mean for real it's the most user friendly town. There are directional signs and writings on the walls, on the road, this way, way out, look right, dead end that it's heaven for every usability geek. Now I am back though with a london flu and a bunch of macarrons from laduree at Harrods, Humingbird cupcakes, Whittard tea and cookies, Ben's cookies and tons of things that make me wanna go back! I'll be back London!
